Julian Moore

Julian’s expertise is in leadership and management. 

Julian is an experienced professional who has held senior executive roles in the private sector, local and central government. His key skill is successfully implementing change in complex environments where there are diverse stakeholders with differing perspectives.

After starting his career in retail and commercial banking in the UK, he emigrated to New Zealand in 1991 where he has since been a senior executive of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) and Wellington City Council, and an executive director of Prudential New Zealand. He is an Associate of the UK Chartered Institute of Bankers, has gained the New Zealand Institute of Directors Certificate in Company Direction and has completed the London Business School Senior Executive Programme.

Key skills:

  • Change management – ensuring that it improves and does not de-rail performance.

  • Organisational arrangements – ensuring that the right organisational and governance arrangements are in place to succeed.

  • Project governance and management – keeping projects on track to deliver their expected outcomes.

  • Business case development – financial and business analysis, assessment of feasibility.

  • Shared services – ensuring high levels of service delivery.

  • Branding and marketing – both strategy and implementation.
